BIO:

       Jim Talley is a lifelong pianist & keyboardist who has played with many great artists including Bob Weir, David Grisman, Dan Hicks, Tommy Castro, & Vinyl. He has performed at top venues such as the Warfield, Great American Music Hall, Yoshi's SF, the Regency, the Sweetwater and many others.
       Jim offers private piano instruction in classical, jazz, blues, rock & pop styles at all levels: beginning to advanced. He customizes each lesson to fit the student and is very patient and dedicated to his craft. Areas of study include learning to read music, how to play in time, basic music theory, scales and technique and learning to play songs from the very first lesson.
